Lithuanian military instructor will share impressions at a press conference after coming back from the EU Training Mission in Mali

The first team of military instructors of the Lithuanian Armed Forces returned from the EU Training Mission in Mali (EUTM Mali). Chief of the Joint Staff of the Lithuanian Armed Forces Brigadier General Vilmantas Tamošaitis and Staff Sergeant Vidmantas Stramiela, a military instructor who has recently returned from EUTM Mali, will be giving a joint press conference on Tuesday.

Currently there are three Lithuanian soldiers deployed in EUTM Mali. From this April two instructors of the Lithuanian Armed Forces have been serving in EUTM Mali in composition of the Nordic-Baltic unit whose responsibility is to provide training for military servicemembers of the Malian Armed Forces at the Koulikoro Training Centre. One transportation operations control officer has been serving at the Bamako Airbase from this August.
